A blog?? But why...

I remember ages ago, when blogging was kind of the only way to share images with people.

Cue Instagram.

So quick, so easy, so simple and direct, that blogging seemed meaningless. Don't get me wrong... Instagram is truly such a wonderful platform for any and all artists to show a glimpse of what they are doing. It has allowed us to feel like just one square, just one image, one blurb, is enough to tell a full story, and for so long I thought that was the case. And while I do enjoy posting one square, and will continue to post one square almost daily... I think that to really convey the full story of a session, a blog might find it's purpose again. So here I am. Not the best writer (that. is. for. sure), my grammar I'm sure is a mess. BUT I want my clients to get a better feeling of the content they will get from a session with me. This shoot in particular... I couldn't pick just one image, to fill one square. It was freezing cold that day, and soooo windy, but these images!!! Ahhh! This gorgeous mama. Her adorable husband that loved on her the entire time with zero prompts. What a joy my job can be. So here I am two years after the fact, blogging some gorgeous images of some gorgeous humans who have turned into some of my favorite friends. And here is to hoping that 2022 is the year of the blogs return. For me at least.
